Lundin’s entry, “Making Sauerkraut Sexy,” won best of show and stole the hearts of our local judges, who have since dreamed of bringing him to mid-Michigan to share the results he and his team achieved for their clients. The “Making Sauerkraut Sexy” campaign incorporates traditional and non-traditional public relations, with a heavy dose of viral/event marketing and online social networking. One of the signature tactics of the campaign was a hip cocktail called a “krautini,” a martini featuring – what else? – sauerkraut. Samples will be available at the program, along with plenty of inspiration for taking our own public relations projects to new and interesting heights.
