White Pine Chapter

The White Pine chapter of PRSA serves public relations professionals in the mid-Michigan area, including Bay City, Flint, Midland, Mount Pleasant, Saginaw and surrounding areas.

• Chartered in 1988
• More than 30 active members; approximately 35% accredited in public relations
• Meetings held approximately once a month

Key Areas of Focus

• Local opportunities for professional development, continuing education and networking
• Study sessions for members interested in attaining accreditation in public relations
• Mentoring and support for the student chapter (PRSSA) at Central Michigan University
• Financial assistance for members to pursue professional development
• Community outreach including awards, advice and assistance for local businesses and organizations
• Participation in national, state and district assemblies and conferences
